Top Five Tuesday | Top 5 Popular Books I Haven’t Read

Hello readers! I’m happy to be taking part in Shanah’s (Bionic Book Worm) Top Five Tuesday prompts for April. I found this kind of late, so I’ll be participating in the last 2 weeks. Head over to her blog, it’s not too late to join!

So there are A LOT of books I have yet to add to my read list. On the contrary, this list was hard to pull together. I browsed through my bookstagram and Goodreads to find five popular books that are still on my TBR. Without further ado, in no particular order, let’s get into today’s Top Five:

Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin

Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin · OverDrive (Rakuten OverDrive ...

When I read the summary for Serpent and Dove, I immediately wanted it in my hands. But now it’s been several months and I haven’t even bought this book! It’s still on my TBR of course and I have no idea when I will finally read it.

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

Amazon.com: Ninth House (Alex Stern) (9781250313072): Bardugo ...

When it comes to Leigh Bardugo, I will read anything she writes with a quickness. Now I did start Ninth House, but I didn’t make it past the first 20 pages. Not because it was bad, because it wasn’t. But because it wasn’t the genre I wanted to read at the moment. Let’s hope that I can add this to my read list by the end of the year.

Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

Amazon.com: Red, White & Royal Blue (9781250316776): McQuiston ...

I love a good contemporary romance, so Red, White, and Royal Blue was right up my alley. The amazing reviews only fueled my desire to read it. So why haven’t I? I have no idea. But I can tell you this: I just bought it on Amazon and it is currently being downloaded to my Kindle.

Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Daisy Jones & The Six: A Novel: Reid, Taylor Jenkins ...

I heard so many good things about Daisy Jones and The Six. Based on the reviews I read, I was sure that I would love it. Now that it’s soon to be transitioned onto the screen via Amazon, I’m sure to read it sooner than later.

To All The Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han

To All the Boys I've Loved Before - Wikipedia

I haven’t even watched the Netflix movie! I have a thing where I like to read books before watching the adapted movie/show. Like Ninth House, I started TATBILB, but couldn’t get past the first few pages because it wasn’t a style of writing I was used to. But who knows, maybe I’ll pick it up again when I’m in a slump.
